About Edouard Ullmo

Edouard Ullmo, 58, is a French entrepreneur with a development capital business dedicated to investing in and adding value to entrepreneurial small and mid-caps.

In order to balance the inherent risk associated with private equity and to support projects that currently lack bank financing, he has developed real estate financing and asset-based structured finance activities.

He adds value at particular turning points in the lives of invested companies by promoting international expansion, accelerating growth and refocusing their activities on the most buoyant markets, thereby raising both standards and potential.

Edouard began his professional career in 1988 as Commercial Attaché at the French Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, before joining the Matra Group.

He actively contributed to European Aerospace exports and to the creation of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) through the merger of Matra, Aerospatiale and DASA.

Spending 20 years in the aerospace industry, he held a number of senior positions in the sales and marketing organisations of Matra, Eurocopter and Airbus, which he joined in 2002.

As a member of Airbus’ Commercial Department until 2008, he supported the company’s growth to its current position as a leader in civil aeronautics.

In 2008, after leaving Airbus, Edouard Ullmo founded and is a shareholder in Tyme Invest & Armat Group.

In 2020, he co-founded the digital publishing houseEXPeditions.

From 2010 to 2021, Edouard Ullmo was a director and shareholder of Helios Capital Ltd, a UK-based financial advisory firm (regulated by the FCA).

Since 2021, Edouard Ullmo has been a director and shareholder of Helios Capital Srl, an Italian financial advisory company based in Milan.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Jackson School of Global Affairs atr Yale.

Edouard enjoys cycling, skiing, tennis and the arts.

He is married with two children.
